  • COVID19- In the current climate of uncertainty and worry it can be very difficult to think clearly and thoughtfully about how to care for our children. Whilst we are now unable  to provide face to face sessions for many clients at either the Open Door or Lewes House locations, we are available to provide on-line support via teleconference consultations or telephone conversations. Please contact us if we have not already spoken to arrange the appropriate next  steps for or with your young person (January 2021).

  • Our sessions are for 50 minutes.  Initial consultations can last an hour and a half and we charge accordingly. Please ask for details.  Beginnings and endings are important so please arrive on time.

  • Our process: we meet families/schools and take a full history including what you as a family/school hope to achieve with our support. We suggest an assessment period for the young person of between four and six sessions to get a sense of their internal world. Following this, another group consultation takes place to think through the needs and presentation of the young person within the family/school dynamic.  Work can take from six months to two years of weekly sessions with regular group meetings with families/schools. The ending is a process as important as the beginning.  The ending process is discussed and agreed in parent/school consultation meetings.  Typically an ending would consist of three sessions where past, present, and future are thought about.

  • Our fees range from £45- £110 per session. VIG prices are individual and will be discussed prior to a written quote.

  • We ask for 72 hours notice for cancellation or we charge in full for the session.
